Dr. Michelle Wolford, ND has always been very passionate about Latin American living and the healing arts. She was partially raised by a beautiful Colombian women by the name of Ana Lucia from Cali, Colombia. Ana Lucia now lives in Honduras where she is a trained Reiki master and healer!
After the unexpected death of Dr. Michelle’s father, Steve Wolford, in May of 2011, Dr. Michelle extended her focus beyond treating patients in San Diego, CA and throughout the United States and beyond (through skype!) and has been constructing a healing retreat center in South America called South American Earth Medicine Retreat Center.

1. A safe place for locals to come and expereince true healing through the use of Earth Medicine (local plants, homeopathy, energy medicine, yoga, spirit healing, massage, reiki, gemstone, essential oils, chakra balancing, intuitive success coaching and more).
2. A safe place for individuals, couples, friends and families to come for a health get-a-way to bring the focus back on self for true healing, relaxation and discovery. Also with the intention of creating a safe place to express your emotional pain, grow and gain tools to move to a new level of health and awareness – designed for people dealing with loss (death in particular), lifestyle challenges to change, marriage counseling, grief support, addiction, health support and awareness and more….
3. A place for business groups to come and establish both team building as well as an new relationship with self ,creating more success in business and personal relationships.
4. A uniquely distinctive expereince where you combine yoga retreats and natural healing through Earth Medicine.
5. Continued Education credits for doctors, nurses, health practitioners and those looking to be educated in Earth Medicine for their own health and health of friends and family.
The center has times throughout the day and year where people can “come and go”, “skype for appointments” and “pay as you go” to continue their healing journey and desire to stay healthy with massage, naturopathic medical services reiki sessions, intuitive success coaching and more. We also have world renowned guest practitioners from all over the world teaching at our center throughout the year. Be sure to check our schedule for any additional or specialized practitioners brought in for a weekend or two!
